Mary Sullivan lives in Austin Texas

In my formative years I had a significant interest in art and I spent a great deal of time drawing. (Thank you Dad for the little white drawing table you built for me!) I received a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin but I consider myself a self trained illustrator.

My childhood memories are of the many hours I spent perusing books, devouring poetry and studying very closely each and every illustration.

My passion for drawing has resulted in a large collection of unique sketches and drawings. I have shown my work at galleries and coffee shops in Austin and Dallas.  More recently, I have begun channeling my energies into illustration for children.

I am excited by the ability to bring to paper any thought, dream or experience. Drawing allows me to translate emotions and experiences through my own language of line, shape and color.
